We’re proud to be releasing our annual Pride Beer, Love Conquers Ale, on June 1^st for our 6^th straight year at our Sam Adams Brewery and Taproom locations. Born out of the Boston Brewery in 2017, Love Conquers Ale was made by our LGBTQ+ coworkers and allies in 2017 and has always been brewed exclusively to celebrate Pride and the LGBTQ+ community as a celebration of our values. In partnership with GLAAD, our purpose is to spread inclusivity, expand the LGBTQ+ presence and embrace openness and change as an authentic ally within the craft beer community.

Love Conquers Ale is a light and refreshing 5% ABV wheat ale that reflects the change needed to drive the growing inclusion in craft beer. This refreshing ale features yuzu for bright citrus notes and prickly pear to create a pinkish hue that captures the joy and expressions of Pride. Love Conquers Ale is an embodiment of our coworkers and community in a vibrant beer.

Aside from our national work with GLAAD, locally our Sam Adams Boston locations support the incredible work of our friends at Transgender Emergency Fund with donations being made based on a few of our Pride events. Transgender Emergency Fund is the only organization dedicated to supporting low income and homeless Transgender individuals in Massachusetts. They assist with homelessness prevention, shelter assistance, nutrition assistance, prescription co-pay assistance, transportation and escort to medical appointments, etc.

Love Conquers Ale will be available in limited-edition cans and on draft at both of our Sam Adams Boston locations starting on June 1^st. We’ll also be featuring a variety of celebrations and events during Pride Month at our locations – check out all Sam Adams Pride happenings below:

Saturday June 3^rd: LOVE CONQUERS ALE PRIDE BASH [10:30am – 10pm]

We're celebrating all things Boston Pride a little early with our friends, Men of Melanin Magic in a 1 day, 3 party spectacular as part of BIPOC Weekend! We’ll be featuring tickets for $15 and $5 from each ticket will be donated directly to our friends at Transgender Emergency Fund. We'll be kicking things off with a special DragTease Drag Show, followed by our Pride TEA Dance with DJs on both levels, facepainting and dance groups and ending the night with our FROLIC Rooftop Takeover. Tuesday June 6^th: Special RuPaul’s Drag Race Trivia with Geeks Who Drink

This ain’t RuPaul’s best friends quiz: Get ready to spill the tea at our “RuPaul’s Drag Race” quiz! For the first time in "Drag Race" herstory, we’re serving you a sickening quiz on every regular season, plus “Untucked” and “All-Stars.” Come kiki with your friends and relive the shade of it all on Tuesday, June 6th in our Beer Hall from 6-8pm! Thursday, June 8^th: Comedy On Draft Show – Pride Edition

Our June comedy show downtown, COMEDY ON DRAFT, is on Thursday, June 8th at 8pm and features an all queer comedian lineup in celebration of Boston Pride Weekend and our Pride Beer, Love Conquers Ale! Amy Tee, Nora Panahi, Alexa Albanese, Connor Doherty, Zach Stewart, and Jeff MacKinnon stop by for 90 minutes of laughs in our beer hall! Our newest rotating MC, Will Smalley, will kick things off for us for a killer show!

Wednesday, June 14^th: Pride Vendor Market Pop-Up! 
Support Small Business! Join us in our Beer Hall for our pop-up beer hall market on June 14th from 5-9pm. Shop while you have a Love Conquers Ale brew in hand with our friends from Trident Booksellers, Copper & Print, Why Not Jewelry by Kristy, CANdles by Beers Over Boston, and MICH Designs! We'll be featuring a raffle for attendees with gift certificates to the Taproom, Trident Booksellers and goodies from small businesses featured from our Brewing The American Dream program!

Sunday, June 4^th: Sofar Sounds Pride Showcase

We’ve teamed up with Sofar Sounds to put together a showcase of local musicians in celebration of Pride! Three mystery artists, curated by the Sofar team, will be playing a ticketed show in the Beer Garden for a special night of live music.

Sunday June 11^th: JP Pride Block Party

We’re sponsoring JP Pride Block Party! This annual event is returning to Perkins Street, complete with live music, a drag show, food vendors, and the Sam Adams Pop-up Beer Garden. Mark your calendars and join us for this neighborhood celebration!

Sunday June 18^th: Vintage & Vinyl: Pride Edition 

This special edition of Vintage & Vinyl, our monthly market featuring small business thrift pop-ups, will feature all LGBTQ+ vendors. Shop second-hand gems with a pint of Love Conquers Ale in hand. We’ll also have live music in the Beer Garden 2-5PM.

Friday, June 23^rd: Love Conquers Ale Disco Dance Party

Join us for a Disco Dance Party! We're celebrating Pride by dancing it up in the Beer Garden with a live DJ, beer slushies, and buckets of Love Conquers Ale. Queens with a Mission will be putting on two dance performances throughout the night. Channel your inner disco-diva with us! $5 from each ticket will be donated to Transgender Emergency Fund.
