IPA fans, it’s time to raise a glass and celebrate! August 3rd is National IPA day, and as one of the most popular styles in craft beer, this hoppy holiday is the ideal time to stop on by a Sam Adams location. Check-out how you can celebrate with Sam below:

At the Downtown Taproom, we're excited to share with you a unique IPA that one of our managers has been eager to bring to life. In honor of National IPA Day, we proudly present our latest release on draft: Dirty Swamp Water IPA. This 6.2% ABV Hazy IPA is an intriguing blend of west coast hops, that offers a unique twist on a traditional hazy IPA. Unlike the juicy or dank IPAs that you’re used to, Dirty Swamp Water IPA takes a lighter and grassier approach. This refreshing brew features Cascade and Chinook hops, which impart a delicious aroma and a balanced bitterness that lingers on the palate. With hints of fresh grass and lime, it’s an ode to both National IPA day and the humid summer days it lands on. For those who love the citrusy aroma from the brew, limited edition air fresheners are also available at our retail shop!
The Taproom will also be featuring a special National IPA Day Flight starting Thursday featuring core favorites like Wicked Hazy and Wicked Fenway coupled with newer innovation releases of Dirty Swamp Water IPA and RyeFlake IPA until the tanks run out!
